Soft breach
Breaking the rule doesn't kill the account — trading just pauses for the rest of the day
"Breach" usually brings to mind a hard breach — instant disqualification. But some firms use a "soft breach": hit a rule like the DLL and only that day's trading is paused, with the account resuming normally the next trading day. In our data, Lucid Trading (Daily accounts), Blue Guardian Futures, FundedSeat, Hola Prime, Tradeify (Growth), MFFU (Builder), E8 Futures, Zenit Funding, and Funded Futures Network all use a soft DLL / soft breach structure. A loss limit that looks strict on the comparison table can feel very different in practice depending on whether it's soft or hard, so always check that together with the number.
