TMDD (Trailing Max Drawdown)

A max loss line that trails your account's highest balance

Trailing Max Drawdown. You are breached when the account falls a set amount below its highest balance (or equity) to date. On a 50K account with a $2,000 TMDD, the moment your balance peaks at $51,000 the breach line trails up to $49,000. At most firms the line locks once the balance clears the starting size plus the buffer, and stops trailing from there. Whether the peak is tracked intraday or at end of day changes the difficulty enormously, so always check both together.
